I have a beautiful engagement ring that has diamonds on both sides. I’m unsure as to what type of wedding band I should get because I don’t want the wedding band to cover up the side diamonds. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, due to not wanting to disturb the side diamonds, I probably would not fuse the two rings.
A plain band would work but I just don’t want anything to cover up the side diamonds.
Yes, slickmic it’s kind of like that picture, but the diamonds don’t protrude out the side. Thanks for your input!

Backround story: he went to buy a me an engagement ring when I told him I didn’t need one. I’m already very happy with us getting married and buying a house. I just don’t see spending that much money when we ARE getting married anyway. He keeps telling me I deserve one. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful and I really appreciate it, but I just think it’s too expensive for a ring.

So, any diamond/engagement ring experts out there?

Do I need to worry about carrying proof of purchase and appraisal with me to the airports in case they think I’m smuggling diamonds?
