I do not recommend you to “try” anything in cleaning your ring inbetween cleaning beside regular rinsing in water. If not cleaned properly or if you use the wrong chemical on your ring, the diamond will loosen. Try to go more often to get in professionally cleaned.

Soak it for a few minutes in dish soap and water, then brush it gently with a toothbrush…It will sparkle and shine.

This is going to sound strange, and I discovered it completely by accident, but I clean all my diamond jewelry with Oxy Clean. I put just a small amount in hot water in a cup, drop in my jewelry and let it sit for a minute or two, and then rinse it off. The only time I’ve ever seen it that clean was straight from the jeweler, and we all know how long that lasts!

I’ve been doing it for a few years now and I haven’t noticed any bad effects from the Oxy Clean, and it really gets the dulling film (lotion, skin, soaps, etc) off the stones!

I clean my ring with toothpaste and a toothbrush…hey it sparkles afterwards.

Use a mixture of Tide washing detergent and a SOFT toothbrush. Trust me, your ring will look awesome! : D

if i were you i would not ‘try’ to clean it yourself and rather take it to a jewelry store.
