I think it’s a very creative and fun idea…..on the ring, what do you think she would like……my engagement ring is three stones…a large sapphire and two large diamonds….that’s called the Boston Setting and is very popular….but she may want a conventional single stone….look through some magazines together and try to get some ideas of what she really likes…..good luck

Very romantic, you are…. The 3 stone ring denotes, Past, present and future.. The solitare is the traditional engagement ring, with one stone. I think what you buy depends on the woman recieving it. What is her personality? Also how long have you been together? If a long time the 3 stone will be awesome because of the symbolism. My engagement ring had 5 stones. Ine big one in the center, and 4 smaller ones, two on each side of the big one because I had 4 children, that he felt as though he was marrying as well. Again the symbolism was great. The choice of a ring, is something you should do very carefully, because she will always remember every detail of it, and the day you gave it to her as well.

A large single diamond is the most traditional. Ultimately nowadays any design and any stone can be an engagement ring. However the most important thing is what you think she would prefer. Best of Luck for both of you

I personally would prefer 1 diamond but it is a person preference thing. Seriously the cookie thing is cute but what ever happened to romance? I would take her to a romantic dinner and then I would make her night so special that she would never forget it and getting down on one knee is a definite yes. Meaning that is what you would hear after a wonderful, romantic night. Best of luck.

Sweeet. I like the three stone. A single stone is easiest and most traditional.
I took my single stone engagement ring and added diamond bands to the top and bottom of the ring. Made it unique.
Then I got the ring I wanted with three stones.

Depends on your girl. You could use a cigar band and let her choose her own ring she will be wearing it for a very long time thats what we did.

the stones don’t really matter. true love is what matters. if you had a million dollar ring would the love be more than if you had a one dollar ring?

I want a cluster(which is 3 stone). Either one can be used. The fortune cookie thing sounds great and like a very good idea. Just don’t lose the cookie. Congrats and good luck.

Engagement rings need not always contain diamonds. Popular trends include using gemstones as sidestones as well as other precious stones.
