I just figure it’s an old tradition. In some countries the wedding bands are worn on your right hand.

It’s their ring, they can do what they want.

It was believed at one time that a vein from the heart ran to the left finger. That’s why we wear them on that finger.

Ancients such as the romans believed a vein ran from that finger straight to the heart…hence the left ring ringer was used to wear a wedding band…and the average roman citizen wore one made of polished iron or lead.

It s a cultural thing. Different countries and cultures do different things. I know in Asia they put it on their middle finger. Also diamonds are an American thing.

I think I heard somewhere that its like the direct blood vein to your heart….but wait, they all go to your heart…..umm you know why people stick up thier middle finger as an insult??? Because you need your middle finger to pull back a bow (as in bow and arrow) so they would cut off their middle fingers …..im not going to finish this statement because i sound really dumb
