i would describe that one as too expensive

a 14 kt white gold cushion diamond ring.

in guy language, a square diamond in the middle, with smaller diamonds on the outside of the square, and the round band part of the ring has little diamonds covering it. be as literal as possible.. haha

and this same ring is sold at other places thats not as expensive. actually, Tiffanys has this ring for like about $4,000. which is still expensive but it’s not as expensive as this one…

if he saw that price he’d probably die. But, dudes are not usually good at that kind of stuff so describing it probably won’t be enough. I’d get a picture of it without a price on it and show it to him as the sort of what you’re thinking about.

before you describe it to him-have you guys discussed price limits?

most guy answers you get will be that it’s too expensive but if your bf can afford it then show him the link. it would be easier than trying to describe it to him.

if it’s above the price range-check other websites for a ring similar to that one in a cheaper price. that ring is a cushion stone setting in 14k gold so it is a fairly common setting

I could be wrong but I believe this is a style exclusive to Helzberg, so if you are wanting something very similar to this its possible he won’t find a smaller/cheaper one other than this one.
