Specifics: Brilliant round cut, canadian diamond, EGL certified, VS, H color, platinum band with a .75 carat diamond.

Backround story: he went to buy a me an engagement ring when I told him I didn’t need one. I’m already very happy with us getting married and buying a house. I just don’t see spending that much money when we ARE getting married anyway. He keeps telling me I deserve one. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful and I really appreciate it, but I just think it’s too expensive for a ring.

So, any diamond/engagement ring experts out there?
